  • San Francisco Yacht Club Youth Sailing Youth Sailing at the San Francisco Yacht Club has a number of distinct components: Youth Instructional Programs, High School Racing, High Performance Sailing, "All Age Programs" and Private Sessions are organized through the Youth Sailing Office.     The oldest yacht club on the Pacific Coast (organized 1869), the San Francisco Yacht Club is also one of the most exclusive on the bay. It is located in Belvedere and has its own 190-slip marina. As the name suggests, it was originally in San Francisco, but moved to Belvedere in 1937. The St. Francis Yacht Club was formed by former SFYC members who opposed the move.
